Lauren Adams

Occupational Therapist

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice.

Lauren has experience supporting individuals aged from child to adults, to develop their understanding of sensory processing, social participation, and emotional regulation challenges, as well as developing independent living skills to increase autonomy.

Lauren is passionate about focusing on increasing individuals’ participation in activities that bring purpose and meaning to their daily life.

Lauren has completed additional training in implementing interventions related to sensory processing, executive functioning, self-regulation, and co-regulation.

Lauren supports individuals through interest and strengths-based therapy that focuses on individualised goals developed by the participants and their supports.  She prioritises working alongside all relevant supports to ensure a collaborative approach for goal achievement.
